"My husband and I went to Bernier Cabinets in Fort Walton Beach for assistance in redoing our kitchen. We knew we wanted granite, and the owner, David Bernier, recommended we use Emerald Coast Fabricator in Panama City. We chose a black color that turned out to be Everlife’s Aristocrat Black. We ordered it right away.

We’ve always liked the look of the solid color. We have a small kitchen and didn’t want it too busy or complicated–just wanted a sleek, smooth look. We like the Everlife granite much better than the quartz products. It’s very highly polished, very modern. It goes nicely with whole look. The onyx kind of reflects; it looks very clean.

From start to finish, the ordering process was two weeks. It was very, very fast. We’ve heard stories from other people that it took six months to do the kitchen. In our case, they ordered and by the time it came, it was just 10 days to install the counters, then the backsplash. It was very quick, very professional. They did a wonderful job.

It’s a much cleaner look; we had white Formica before, which was fine, but it did stain and spot, and we had to work with it all the time. It would cut very easily. The Everlife granite has a much better look. It’s also a little bit more durable. I’m sure it’s going to hold up a lot longer and not wear as easily. The 15-year guarantee came highly recommended; we couldn’t have gotten that with other companies, and it’s very comforting."
